DALLAS - Senior Dominique Lemperle was named to the 2003 Big 12 Conference All-Singles first team announced Thursday afternoon by the league office. Both the singles and doubles teams were selected in a vote by the conference coaches.

It's the second first team singles honor for Lemperle, who was named to the all-singles first team during the 2000-01 season. Lemperle, from Braunschweig, Germany was 16-12 for the Buffaloes at the No. 1 singles position this season. Earlier this spring, she was the 111th ranked player in the nation according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings.

Also receiving conference accolades was the CU No. 1 doubles tandem of Lemperle and senior Lia Dimingo. The senior combo record six wins during the spring, including victories over four Big 12 teams. It's the first doubles honor for Dimingo (Melbourne, Australia), while Lemperle earned her first doubles honor back in 2000 with former CU standout Jessica Garrow.
