USC celebrates big win in locker room

What a night for USC basketball. The Trojans held a lead as big as 15 against crosstown rival UCLA, allowed the Bruins to chip away at that lead until they forced overtime, and then played to a 75-71 victory in the new Pauley Pavilion. USC last beat UCLA in Westwood on Jan. 16, 2010.

Take in the unbridled joy from this bunch in their postgame celebration. Zach Banner, the big dude on the left wearing No. 3, is my favorite to watch. I spend the first 15 seconds fearing he will crush his teammate against the lockers. That is followed by his wonderfully skeptical face at :18 as Eric Wise starts a new chant. And then he dances.

USC is back in action Feb. 7 against Washington State on the Pac-12 Networks.
