Soon Arsalan Kazemi will be battling for rebounds alongside some of the world's best players in NBA summer league action. But before he steps on the court as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers, the former Duck talks about his lone, memorable season in Eugene.
Kazemi became the first Iranian-born player to be taken in the NBA Draft, selected 54th overall last Thursday by the Washington Wizards and then traded to Philadelphia. Kazemi broke Oregon's single-season rebounding record with 350 boards after transferring from Rice. He also tallied 71 steals, the second-most by a Duck in a single season.
