UCLA Sweeps Season Opener

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – The UCLA cross country team swept both races and top honors Saturday morning in the Bruins season debut at the Mustang Challenge held at Central Park. The women’s team started off the morning with an impressive showing, placing 11 runners in the top 15 to easily outdistance LMU, 20-51. The Bruins top seven all finished in the top nine.

USC Takes Second At The Aztec Invitational

Junior Erica Capellino placed ninth to lead a strong team effort by the USC women's cross country team which placed second among Division I schools at the 69 Annual Aztec Invitational held at Balboa Park in San Diego today (Sept. 21). USC had five athletes finish among the top 25 runners, but the meet winner was No. 10 Arkansas which captured the title with a perfect score of 15, taking the top eight positions.

Utah Cross Country Finished Third at Montana State Invitational

BOZEMAN, Mont. — In her season debut, junior Rebekah Winterton led the Utes at the Montana State Invitational. Overall the Utes claimed three of the top ten spots en route to a third-place finish.

XC Women Run at Anderson Invite

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Steffie Pavey led the limited Washington State women’s cross country team Saturday at the Erik Anderson Invitational at Plantes Ferry Park in Spokane Valley.
