NORMAN, Okla.—The ninth-ranked Arizona State women’s golf team finished in a tie for third place at the Schooner Fall Preview, Monday, in Norman, Okla. The Sun Devils, who tied for third with LSU, shot a three-round total of 36-over 876 (293-295-288) at the par-70, 6,082 Belmar Golf Club.
Junior Noemi Jimenez finished the tournament in eighth place and recorded her third top-10 finish of the season with a score of 5-over 215. Jimenez and senior Daniela Ordonez shot a team-low 69 in the final round of competition. Senior Justine Lee tied for 29th overall shooting a three-day total of 12-over 222 (71-73-78).
Next up the Sun Devils compete in their third tournament in as many weeks at the Betsy Rawls Invitational, Oct. 13-15 in Austin, Texas. Last season Arizona State finished in fourth place in the Texas Longhorn-hosted tournament.
