Cardinal Upends No. 2 UCLA

Fourth-ranked Stanford men’s water polo was on point from start to finish Saturday at Avery Aquatic Center, bull-rushing its way to an 8-5 victory over No. 2 UCLA. The Cardinal (11-4, 1-1 MPSF) snapped a five-game slide against the Bruins with the win, nabbing its first victory over UCLA since Oct. 11, 2009. Stanford also dealt the Bruins just its second loss of the campaign, dropping UCLA to 18-2 on the year and 0-1 in MPSF play.

Top-Ranked Trojans Take Down Two In Busy Saturday

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. — The No. 1 USC men's water polo team cruised through two visitors today in a doubleheader at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center. The Trojans started the busy afternoon with a 17-4 win over No. 13 Loyola Marymount before wrapping it all up with a 22-3 win over Cal Lutheran to stretch the USC home win streak out to 43 in a row. USC improves to 19-1 with today's victories.
