Kruggel Nets Two In Cal’s 3-1 Win Over UC Davis
BERKELEY – On Senior Day Sunday afternoon at Maxwell Family Field, freshman Sydney Earle and junior Lara Kruggel combined for three first half goals to lead California to a 3-1 victory over UC Davis to bring the Golden Bears back on the winning track in NorPac play.
Stanford Downed by Blue Devils
DURHAM, N.C. — No. 13 Stanford was unable to overcome a late goal by No. 8 Duke in a tightly contested affair Sunday, eventually falling to the Blue Devils, 2-0. A goal in the 59th minute by Duke's (11-4, 2-2 ACC) Amanda Kim was enough to give the Blue Devils the victory.
