No. 5 Cal Tops Pepperdine, 11-6, Under the Lights

BERKELEY – Paced by three goals from senior All-American Collin Smith and some outstanding goalkeeping from Jon Sibley and Michael Boggan, the No. 5 Cal water polo team topped No. 9 Pepperdine, 11-6, Friday (Oct. 25) in an MPSF night match at Spieker Aquatics Complex. With the victory, the Golden Bears have now won four-straight matches to improved to 13-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

No. 2 UCLA Earns First MPSF Win with 18-5 Victory at No. 8 UC Irvine

IRVINE, Calif. — The No. 2 UCLA men's water polo team earned its first MPSF win of 2013 with an 18-5 victory at No. 8 UC Irvine on Friday night at the Anteater Aquatics Complex. The Bruins improved to 20-2 overall and 1-1 in the MPSF while the Anteaters fell to 11-8 overall and 0-3 in league play.
