Men’s Tennis Sends Two to Las Vegas

TUCSON, Ariz. Two players from the Arizona men’s tennis program will travel to Las Vegas where they will compete in the Larry Easley Memorial Classic.
The tournament will run Friday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Nov. 3 and is hosted by UNLV.
Opponents include athletes from UNLV, Auburn, Arkansas, Oregon, Northern Arizona, Grand Canyon, and Seminole State College.
Senior Mario Urquidi and Sophomore Matt Dunn will compete in singles and the two will also pair up to compete in doubles.
Dunn has already put together an impressive fall resume, going 6-2. In his most recent appearance, Dunn won the back-draw of the Aztec Invitational and prior to that the sophomore won the back-draw of the Aggie Invitational.
Urquidi has gone 2-2 this fall, most recently competing late September in the ITA All-American Championships.
This will be the first time this season the two will pair up in doubles.
