Rivalries highlight final week of men’s soccer regular season

WASHINGTON reclaimed the top spot in the Conference standings, but the Pac-12 title is still undecided as the top-three teams remain within one point of each other. The third-ranked Huskies look to clinch the title this weekend as they travel to OREGON STATE in the final game of the Pac-12 men’s soccer regular season on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. PT on the Pac-12 Networks ... CALIFORNIA, which came in ranked at No. 5 this week, is second in the standings and only one point away from overtaking the Huskies. The Bears take on Bay Area rival STANFORD in their last game of the season on Wednesday, Nov. 13 ... UCLA remained at No. 2 in the NSCAA Weekly Poll, but is currently at third behind the Huskies and the Bears. The Bruins are only two points removed from the first-place spot in the Conference and look to retake No. 1 as they take on SAN DIEGO STATE ... The Aztecs open this week with a non-conference matchup against Grand Canyon on Tuesday, Nov. 12, but round out their season by hosting the Bruins on Saturday ... Last week, UCLA was knocked off of the top of the Pac-12 standings after Washington staved off Stanford and Cal to reclaim the lead ... Washington’s Mason Robertson was the Pac-12 Player of the Week for Nov. 4-10 after scoring two game-winning goals over the course of the weekend as the Huskies swept the Bay Area schools.
