XC Women Take Second At NCAA Championships

Terre Haute, Ind. – The University of Arizona Wildcat women’s cross country team entered the NCAA Championships ranked No. 2 in the country and they ended up earning a second-place finish overall. The Wildcats earned a runner-up finish and had two student-athletes earn All-America honors. It was the best NCAA finish in school history for the women. 

XC’s Houlihan Finishes Eighth At NCAAs

TERRA HAUTE, Ind.—Arizona State cross country’s Shelby Houlihan earned the second All-America honors of her career with an eighth place finish at the 2013 NCAA Championships on Saturday at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center.

Santisteban Places 10th Overall At NCAAs

Terre Haute, Ind. — California junior Kelsey Santisteban placed 10th overall in the NCAA Women's Cross Country Championships Saturday at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Ind. The Golden Bear finished the prestigious race with a time of 20:21.7 in the 6,000-meter race.

Men's Cross Country Claims National Championship

TERRA HAUTE, Ind. — Through cold, windy and muddy conditions, the No. 3 ranked University of Colorado men’s cross country team once again proved to be the top team in the land as they claimed the 2013 NCAA Cross Country team title here today at the La Vern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.

Cheserek Wins NCAA Cross Country Title in Historic Run

TERRA HAUTE, Ind. – Edward Cheserek became Oregon’s first freshman ever to claim the NCAA Division I Cross Crountry individual title with a time of 29:41.1. The newcomer from Newark, N.J., by way of Kenya joined an elite group of Oregon champions Saturday afternoon.

Terre Haute, Ind. – On a wet and windy course, Utah junior Rebekah Winterton closes out the cross country season with an 89th-place finish at the 2013 NCAA Cross Country Championships.

Women 17th, Nelson Goes Top-20 At NCAA XC

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Ending a drought of fifteen years, junior Aaron Nelson completed one of the best seasons ever by a Husky men’s distance runner today, powering over the sloppy, muddy 10,000-meters of muck at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course for a 20th-place finish.
