A tough match against Penn State ends in heartbreak for No. 3 Washington as the Huskies fall to the No. 2 Nittany Lions 3-0 in the NCAA semifinal match Thursday night in Seattle. In a series of unforced errors, the Huskies lose in three sets (14-25, 13-25, 16-25) for an unfortunate end to a great season. Penn State will play Wisconsin in the NCAA championship match Saturday in Seattle.
