The week in social media photos: Dec. 16 - 23

Dec 22, 2013

It may have been finals week and the schedule slowed some, but that doesn't mean the social space got any less interesting! We've got arcade games and a pep rally and the start of bowl season and a homecoming. It's always a good time to be a Pac-12 fan. The week:

Dad's home and it comes as a big surprise for his family. Love the holidays.

Speaking of holidays, these guys will be spending a portion of theirs in paradise.

Sure, it says there's going to be a "contest," but I think Kyle wins.

I love the first, second, third podium. I want to implement that across all sports. It's so olympic.

Before taking on Colorado State in the New Mexico Bowl, the Cougars hit the arcade for some pop-a-shot.

The Sun Devils celebrated the career of these fine alumni and retired Ryneldi Becenti's number. The fist ever jersey retirement for ASU women's basketball.

Sunday's game against Creighton in Omaha was a homecoming for Cal's David Kravish.

The Cardinal dropped in on ESPN's Bristol studios two days before knocking off No. 10 UConn.

In Vegas, the Buffs were unable to get the win over Oklahoma State, but they looked fly.

Colorado wasn't the only Pac-12 representative in Vegas this weekend. USC played in the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl and won the thing, 45-20.

I can't confirm whether or not these mach uniforms include those expandable wings. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they were a feature.

Despite falling to Penn State in the national semi-final, there's still reason to celebrate in Dawg women's volleyball nation.
