TEMPE, Ariz. – Tickets are on sale now for the 2014 Sun Devil Baseball Preseason Banquet on Jan. 30 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Tempe.
The event, which runs from 6-8 p.m., begins with a silent auction and autograph session, and is followed by a dinner and reception that will preview the 2014 baseball season as well as pay homage to the final season at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark.
“This is a great tradition we share with the Sun Devil Family and is an event I look forward to every year,“ head coach Tim Esmay said. “The passion our fans have for this program is unmatched in college baseball and there is no better way to begin the 40th season at Packard Stadium than to spend an evening with them.”
Individual seats are $60 and tables cost $600 for this great opportunity to meet coach Esmay and his staff, and the 35 baseball student-athletes on the 2014 team, before they begin their journey to Omaha and the College World Series.

The Sun Devils open the 2014 season with a three-game series against Baylor beginning on Feb. 14 at 2:30 p.m. MT at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark.
Packard Stadium, which opened in 1974, has played host to two national championship teams, 18 NCAA Regional tournaments and more than 1,100 Sun Devil victories. The entire 2014 season will be a celebration of this iconic ballpark as every era of Sun Devil baseball will be honored, an All-Packard Team will be voted on, long-time season ticket holders will be recognized, and former players and moments will be remembered.
Fans can purchase season tickets online at sundeviltickets.com, by phone at 480-727-0000 or by visiting the Sun Devil Stadium Ticket Office, located at the south end of Sun Devil Stadium. Season ticket holders will have first opportunity and priority at selecting seats at Phoenix Municipal Stadium in 2015, and other benefits include reserved lot parking and vouchers for the annual tournament in Surprise, Ariz.
The Sun Devils led the West Coast in attendance last year for the ninth consecutive season as more than 78,000 fans came to Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark.
