Three Bruins Complete Two Rounds at Anteater Invitational

UCLA junior Preston Valder led a threesome of Bruins competing in the Anteater Invitational at the Mesa Verde Country Club on Monday.

Valder posted scores of 72-74--146 (+4) and was tied for ninth place entering the final round. Junior Kyle Pollema was tied for 23rd after carding scores of 76-73—149 (+7) and senior Anton Arboleda was tied for 25th at eight-over par 150 following rounds of 75-75.

Kevin Lee of Long Beach State was the 36-hole leader at 138 (-4) after posting scores of 68-70.

The final 18 holes will be played Tuesday.
