Feb 6, 2014

UPDATE, FRIDAY, FEB. 7, 7 p.m. MST GÇô Colorado's women's basketball game Saturday against Oregon State has been pushed back one hour to 1 p.m. MST.

Snow continues to fall in the area and the Oregon State campus has been closed the last two days. Friday afternoon Oregon State officials announced they "strongly recommend that fans wishing to attend live within walking distance of campus. Driving will be hazardous in the mid-Willamette Valley through the weekend."

Attempts will be made to provide a live stream through Oregon State's Pac-12 portal. The determination on the feasibility of a live stream will be made late on Saturday morning. Saturday's game will air as scheduled on KKZN AM 760 in the Boulder-Denver metro area with Buffs Pregame beginning at 12:30 p.m.

The Buffaloes left campus Friday afternoon after the conclusion of classes and landed safely in Eugene early Friday evening.

Check back to CUBuffs.com and the CU women's basketball official twitter handle @CUBuffsWBB for continued updates on the status of Saturday's game.

BOULDER -A snow storm Thursday in the Pacific Northwest has delayed Colorado's women's basketball games at Oregon State and Oregon by one day, to Saturday, Feb. 8, and Monday, Feb. 10.

Colorado's game at Oregon State will now be played on Saturday at 12 p.m. MST., at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis. The Buffaloes will then play at Oregon on Monday at 6 p.m. MST, at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene.

The decision was made Thursday afternoon before the Buffaloes left for Oregon, allowing the team to stay home and attend classes on Friday. Colorado will work out at home Friday afternoon and then depart for Oregon Friday evening, sticking as close to a normal road trip routine as possible. The Buffaloes are scheduled to return immediately after the Oregon game late Monday night.

Oregon State's campus was closed on Thursday and will be again on Friday as 4-to-8 inches of snow are expected in the area tonight and into tomorrow. The Oregon campus shut down operations as of 5 p.m. MST today and will stay closed until at least 11 a.m. MST on Friday.

Utah, Colorado's travel partner, is in a similar situation and will play at Oregon on Saturday at 3 p.m. MST and Oregon State on Monday at 7 p.m.

Colorado's game at Oregon State, originally scheduled for Friday on the Pac-12 Mountain and Oregon Networks will not be televised on Saturday. Both games are scheduled to air as normal on KKZN AM 760 in the Denver-Boulder area. Both games will be streamed on Oregon State's and Oregon's respective Pac-12.com video players.
