Pac-12 Gymnastics nears the end of the regular season

There are just two weeks left in the regular Pac-12 gymnastics season as seven of the eight league makes an appearance on this week’s top 25 poll ... Last week in the Pac-12, No. 5 UTAH swept past WASHINGTON, 197.125-193.475. No. 9 UCLA and No. 20 ARIZONA had a showdown that ended with UCLA on top, 197.500-196.250. No. 15 OREGON STATE hosted a tri-meet featuring No. 9 Nebraska and No. 21 ARIZONA STATE. Nebraska won the tri-meet, followed by the Beavers at second and the Sun Devils at third ... All league teams except for Arizona and Oregon State hit the road for tough competitions involving non-conference opponents. Utah and UCLA travel to play in a tri-meet hosted by No. 7 Michigan in what is sure to be one of the most competitive meets of the year for all three squads. California heads to Kentucky, Stanford to Alabama, Arizona State to Oklahoma and Washington to BYU, all on Friday, March 7. The Beavers head to Tucson to play the Wildcats on Sunday, March 9 ... Weekly Pac-12 honors include Gymnast of the Week Olivia Courtney of UCLA, Specialist of the Week Samantha Peszek of UCLA, and Freshman of the Week Selynna Felix-Terrazas of Arizona.
