Stanford men's basketball held off a second-half surge from New Mexico for a 58-53 win Friday in St. Louis. Chasson Randle led the Cardinal with 23 points to help Stanford make a statement in its first NCAA tournament appearance since 2008. Stanford will play the winner of Eastern Kentucky-Kansas in the third round on Sunday.
