The top-seeded Brady, from Boca Raton, Fla., downed USC's sixth-seeded Zoe Scandalis, 6-4, 6-0 to claim the title. Brady did not drop a set in her five matches in Ojai. She becomes the second UCLA freshman in as many years to win the title, following 2013 winner Kyle McPhillips.

Brady leads the team in singles victories this season with 33. She is ranked No. 11 in the nation in singles and No. 1 in doubles with partner Robin Anderson.

Brady extended her singles winning streak to 19 on Sunday. She has not lost since falling to Duke's Hanna Mar in the team finals of the USTA/ITA National Team Indoors on Feb. 10.
