May 12, 2014

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Junior Dani Gilmore has been named Pac-12 Conference Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Gilmore helped the Beavers close out their season with a pair of victories, as Oregon State took its first series win over Stanford since 2007. Gilmore’s weekend was highlighted by a grand slam on Friday, as part of a 2-for-3, five RBI performance. She then followed that up by going 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI on Saturday. Overall, Gilmore hit .500 over the course of the week, with an .800 slugging percentage.

This is the first Pac-12 weekly honor of Gilmore’s career. The West Hills, Calif. native has reached a number of milestones in her first three seasons as a Beaver.
