The Sun Devils lead the Pac-12 in batting average (.285), slugging percentage (.390) and hits (509 - only team in the conference with more than 500 hits), and rank second in on-base percentage (.373) and total bases (698)

Join the Sun Devil Baseball program and fellow supporters for an unforgettable evening. The 31st annual Baseball Postseason Banquet will be held on May 27 on the outfield grass at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark from 6-8 p.m. Tickets are $60 or buy a table for 10 people for $600. Fans can also sponsor a student-athlete’s dinner for $60. There will be open parking in front of Packard Stadium in Lot 59.

To celebrate the 40th and final historic season in Packard Stadium, all seven home weekend baseball series’ during the 2014 “Tip You Cap To Packard” season are dedicated to honoring a different decade or aspect of Packard Stadium and Sun Devil Baseball’s storied legacy.

Packing Them In
The Devils secured the highest average attendance on the West Coast and in the Pac-12 for the 10th consecutive year after averaging 2,844 fans per game this season.

Against The Best
This is the first team in school history to win a trio of three-game series’ over top-15 teams and earlier in the season became the first ASU team to win consecutive Pac-12 road series’ over top-15 teams. The Sun Devils won their third three-game series over a ranked team for the first time since 2011, the third time in head coach Tim Esmay’s tenure and the eighth time in program annals.

The Sun Devils are 11-8 against ranked teams this season, including 9-6 against teams in the top 15, and are 7-5 against the top four teams in the conference (excluding ASU). ASU went 5-3 against the past two defending national champions (2-1 over UCLA, 3-2 over Arzona). Head coach Tim Esmay’s 52 wins over ranked opponents in his first five seasons is the most of any head coach in school history and six more than his predecessor, Pat Murphy.

ASU is the only team this season to beat No. 2 Oregon State in back-to-back games. The Sun Devils won 2-of-3 games over then-No. 4 Oregon State in Corvallis March 21-23 to win its first series over OSU in Corvallis since 2007 and the third road series over a top-five team in school history, including the second under head coach Tim Esmay.

Pac-12 Player Of The Week

·     Junior shortstop Drew Stankiewicz earned Pac-12 Player of the Week honors after setting career marks at the plate in ASU’s four wins

·     He tallied a .389 batting average, a .667 slugging percentage and a .389 on-base percentage as he collected seven hits, including two doubles and a solo home run, and added five RBI and five runs scored

·     He twice tied his career high with three hits this week and set a career-high with three RBI in a road win over UNLV on May 13 and a season-high seven total bases against Utah on May 18. He has tallied at least a pair of hits in five of his past eight games and scored a run in all four games this week

·   This is Stankiewicz’s first career Pac-12 Player of the Week nod and ASU’s Conference-leading 105th all-time selection
