Thirteen Pac-12 softball players named NFCA All-Americans

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Thirteen Pac-12 softball student-athletes from six different institutions were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division I All-American teams, the organization announced this afternoon. The Pac-12 had the second-most student athletes of any conference on the list. OREGON and WASHINGTON had three selections apiece, tied with two other schools for the most selections of any school, while ARIZONA STATE, ARIZONA and UCLA had two and UTAH had one. 

The Pac-12 has one team in this year’s Women’s College World Series as top-seeded Oregon will participate in the final round of the championship tournament. The Ducks open WCWS play against eighth-seeded and third-ranked Florida State tomorrow, Thursday, May 29 at 2:30 p.m. ET. The game can be seen on ESPN, and all WCWS games will be broadcast on the ESPN networks.
