Highlights: Oregon softball survives and advances past Oklahoma

May 31, 2014

The Oregon Ducks survived Saturday's elimination game against the Oklahoma Sooners and win 4-2 to move on to the semifinals of the Women's College World Series for the first time in school history. All four of the RBI's came from the middle of the lineup as Janie Takeda and Kailee Cuico each knocked in a pair. The Sooners brought the winning run to the plate in the bottom of the seventh but Cheridan Hawkins got Brittany Williams to ground out to short to send the Ducks to a semifinal matchup against Alabama starting Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
