California, Colorado women's soccer to open NCAA Tournament play on Pac-12 Networks

Cal Bears host San Diego State while CU Buffs face BYU in Boulder

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. (Nov. 12, 2014) –Pac-12 Networks will televise live two NCAA women’s soccer tournament games hosted by Pac-12 programs – San Diego State at California and BYU at Colorado – Saturday, November 15 at Noon PT/1:00 p.m. MT.

San Diego State-California will air on Pac-12 Bay Area, Pac-12 Los Angeles, Pac-12 Oregon and Pac-12 Washington, while BYU-Colorado will be televised on Pac-12 Arizona and Pac-12 Mountain. Fans can also watch either game by authenticating their television service to view on Pac-12.com/now or via the Pac-12 Now app.

JB Long and Tammy Blackburn have the call of San Diego State-California, while Ann Schatz and Kyndra de St. Aubin will cover BYU vs. Colorado.

This marks the second season Pac-12 Networks has acquired broadcast rights from the NCAA to televise postseason games hosted by Pac-12 programs.

The Pac-12 advanced a league-record nine teams to the 2014 NCAA Women’s College Cup, the most of any conference in the nation, with UCLA and Stanford earning No. 1 seeds. The Golden Bears (13-5-2, 5-4-2 Pac-12) finished the regular season tied for fifth in the Conference standings and will host their first NCAA Tournament game since 2000. Colorado (13-6-1, 6-4-1 Pac-12) took the No. 3 spot in the Pac-12, finishing the regular season with a 2-0 win over Utah.
