Holiday Themes Surround Buffs' Final December Games

BOULDER - Join the University of Colorado women's basketball team for a "Lappe Holidays" celebration at their final two nonconference games this month.

On Sunday, Dec. 21, the Buffaloes take on Wyoming and will host Ugly Holiday Sweater Day at the Coors Events Center.  Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. and the first 500 fans will receive a special CU Ugly Holiday Sweater T-shirt. 

In addition, fans who wear their holiday sweaters to the game will receive general admission tickets for just $5. Be sure to show off your holiday best during the game because the fans with the ugliest sweaters will win prizes.

Continuing in the holiday spirit, when the Buffaloes host Long Beach State on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 7 p.m., CU will be hosting a White Buffalo gift exchange; its own version of the classic White Elephant gift exchange. 

Any fan can bring an unwrapped, unopened gift to the Coors Events Center and exchange it for another gift from all the ones turned in that day.  Fans who still don't like their gift will also be able to donate their new gifts to charity.
