This week in Pac-12 gymnastics

For the eighth week in a row, seven of eight Pac-12 gymnastics squads are ranked in the Top 25 nationally. #4 UTAH remains undefeated after defeating #6 Michigan in front of a crowd of 16,019 fans. The Utes are led by senior Georgia Dabritz, who is currently ranked third in the nation on vault, first on bars, and sixth on the floor. UTAH will close out the regular season at #10 Georgia on Saturday. 

#8 UCLA completed their Pac-12 schedule this past weekend with a win over #11 STANFORD in front of a crowd of 9,531. The Bruins went 7-1 against the rest of the Pac-12, the only loss coming against UTAH. UCLA will close out its regular season at #16 Arkansas on Friday.

Top Pac-12 squads to take SEC road trip: Both #4 UTAH and #8 UCLA will travel to take on SEC squads in the final week of the regular season. #4 UTAH will travel to #10 Georgia and #8 UCLA will travel to #16 Arkansas. Utah and Georgia each have a record 10 national championships. Utah has won four of the last five meets with Georgia. The loss came on its last visit to Georgia in 2013.

In pursuit of perfection: This weekend #4 UTAH will be looking to complete an undefeated season for the first time since the Utes went 13-0 in 1993.

Note on Pac-12 Championships: The 2015 Pac-12 Gymnastics Championships have been relocated from Arizona State University to the University of Utah. Berkeley Regional tickets now on sale: Tickets for the 2015 NCAA Gymnastics Berkeley Regional are on sale now at CalBears.com. The meet will take place April 4 and feature six teams contenting for a berth to the NCAA national championship.
