It’s signing day in basketball, so Jeff Faraudo compiles a list of Cal basketball’s greatest hometown players. Later today, the potential signing of one player has the potential to be added to a future version of this list.
Along those lines, Colorado men’s basketball officially signed two European players to letters of intent: Thomas Akyazili (Belgium) and Kenan Guzonjic (Bosnia).
The story is a bit old but now that it’s official we can link to it – Washington State basketball hauled in Viont’e Daniels, who was named the Associated Press 4A Player of the Year in Washington out of Federal Way High School.

Washington signed women’s basketball coach Mike Neighbors to a contract extension through 2019-20. Good move to wrap that guy up; heckuva coach, heckuva list-maker.
According to media reports, Marcus Mariota scored a 33 on the Wonderlic test, which is really freakin’ good (it’s out of 50, but trust me, 33 is no D). You know who else scored a 33 on the test? Tom Brady.
