SAN FRANCISCO--As Pac-12 Conference competition continues this week, the Conference sits at 19-8 vs. other conferences. Some of the Pac-12’s marquee wins have come against No. 4 Alabama, No. 10 Georgia, and No. 24 Southern Utah.

This weekend will feature two Conference top-25 match-ups as well as two Pac-12 squads heading on the road to the Metroplex Challenge to face #2 Oklahoma, #6 LSU, and #16 Missouri.

In the national rankings, the Pac-12 is leading the way on the floor with UCLA ranked first in the nation in the event. The Bruins are also ranked fifth nationally on the beam. UTAH is third in the nation on the bars. Individually, UCLA’s Danusia Francis is leading the country on the beam and STANFORD’s Elizabeth Price is second in the nation in the all-around.

Monday Night on Pac-12 Networks: This Monday, Feb. 1, Pac-12 Networks will broadcast both the #20 ARIZONA at #7 UTAH meet and the #4 UCLA at #21 CALIFORNIA meet. Pac-12 Networks will continue to broadcast at least one gymnastics meet every Monday night through Monday, Feb. 29.

Metroplex Challenge: #12 STANFORD and WASHINGTON will both travel to Fort Worth this weekend to take on some tough competition. The Metroplex Challenge will also feature #2 Oklahoma, #6 LSU, and #16 Missouri. The meet will be streamed by FloGymnastics and can be viewed for a fee.

Utah at Capacity Again: Last Saturday for the first afternoon home gymnastics meet in Utah history, the Huntsman center made room for a standing-room crowd of 15,550. After last year’s record crowd of 16,019 vs. Michigan, the fire marshall designated a maximum of 15,550 fans permitted in the building. Fans were turned back at the doors Saturday and were compensated with tickets to the next home meet on Feb. 1 vs. Arizona.

Pac-12 February: After the Metroplex Challenge, from Feb. 1 through Feb. 29, Pac-12 squads will compete exclusively in Conference competition.  18 Pac-12 vs. Pac-12 meets will take place in that time frame, with 16 of those meets being broadcast on Pac-12 Networks.

Price Continues to Shine: STANFORD’s Elizabeth Price has been named Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week in each of the first three weeks of the season. She ranks second in the nation in the all-around with an average of 39.492. She is also No. 5 in the nation on the bars, No. 11 in the nation on the vault, and No. 22 in the nation on the floor.
