SEATTLE – This week’s Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament will feature halftime entertainment from some of Seattle’s top family entertainment acts as well as performances by several singers known for their appearances on shows like American Idol and The X Factor, the Conference announced today.

The tournament will take place at KeyArena in Seattle this Thursday through Sunday, March 3 - 6. Tickets are still available at pac-12.com/tickets or the East Box Office at KeyArena.

The exciting halftime lineup includes basketball ballhandler Ilze Luneau, the Rapid City Slammers, the Eastside Dream Elite cheerleading squad, the acrobats of the Russian Bar Trio, and the Seattle FlyDogs. Halftimes of the 11:30 a.m. games on Thursday and Friday will feature interactive dance parties on the court.

Several talented singers will make appearances during the tournament. American Idol stars Tyanna Jones and Jax will be performing both national anthems and halftime shows throughout the four-day tournament. Additional voice talents include Joelle James, who was featured on Chris Brown’s track “Leave the Club”, Jennifer Hopper of The Angel Band Project, and the group AKNU of X Factor fame.

Additionally, Sheila Kelly from the Mosaic Arts Choir & Orchestra will perform the national anthem to tip-off the fourth session of the tournament on Friday, Mar. 4 and Evergreen Heights Elementary School Choir will be performing the national anthem for the championship game on Mar. 6. The Pac-12 is proud to partner with these and several other local Seattle groups to provide the best possible experience for Pac-12 women’s basketball fans.

As the Pac-12 celebrates its centennial this year, the Conference will honor top vote-getters from the Pac-12 Women’s Basketball All-Century team, including Stanford head coach Tara VanDerveer, at halftime of the championship game on Sunday, March 6.

Also in attendance throughout the week will be mascots, cheerleaders, and bands from across the Pac-12 Conference, along with special appearances by the mascots from the Seattle Storm and the Seattle Mariners.

The Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament will be played this week at KeyArena in Seattle for the fourth year in a row. Through 11 games over four days, fans will get to see four top-15 teams-- No. 8 Oregon State, No. 10 Arizona State, No. 11 Stanford, and No. 12 UCLA-- in action with an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on the line.
