Pac-12 men's basketball tournament sold out

Mar 7, 2016

SAN FRANCISCO – The 2016 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament presented by New York Life has sold out for the first time in the tournament’s history, the Conference announced today.

The Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament will be played this Wednesday through Saturday, March 9-12, 2016 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. This is the fourth year the Pac-12 has hosted its tournament in Las Vegas.

Pac-12 basketball has been as competitive as ever this season, featuring incredible depth and four top teams in the AP Top 25. The action will be on full display in Las Vegas through 11 competitive games over four intense days.

Last year, the last four sessions – all games on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday – sold out, but this year marks the first time in the tournament’s history that all tickets for all sessions have sold out in advance of the tournament.

“This sell-out is evidence that the Pac-12 Tournament has become a must-attend event for our fans,” said Pac-12 Chief Marketing Officer Danette Leighton. “Our talented student-athletes are in for a world-class championship experience in Las Vegas and we are thrilled to have a passionate crowd to share in that excitement.”

Those not able to attend the Pac-12 Tournament will be able to catch all the action on Pac-12 Network and Fox Sports 1.
