Utah

On the road in Oxford, Kyle Goon gives us the low-down on Utah baseball prepping for Ole Miss, the Pac-12 champs’ first opponent in NCAA regional play this weekend.

UCLA

Our Shayna Rubin lets us know that UCLA softball lost to Auburn 10-3 in the Women’s College World Series Thursday in Oklahoma City. The Bruins are now in the loser’s bracket, needing to beat Florida State on Saturday to keep their season alive.

Arizona

Sam Laird of Mashable believes that Andre Iguodala is the Golden State Warriors’ “overlooked hero.” Iggy, the 2015 NBA Finals MVP, registered 12 points, seven boards, six assists and a steal and a block with a +22 in the Warriors’ 104-89 victory over Cleveland in Game 1 of the 2016 NBA Finals Thursday night.

Stanford

Writing for espnW, Tony Fabrizio features Stanford grad and stock car driver Julia Landauer, who is working her way up the NASCAR ranks. She also competed on “Survivor: Caramoan” three years ago.

Oregon

Check out this video of Sulman Raza’s mom rushing the green after her son sank the NCAA Championship-winning putt for the Oregon men’s golf team Wednesday. There’s a reaction video to the reaction as well. Good stuff, Tyson Winter.

Washington State

Washington State has added junior college quarterback Anthony Gordon (The Spokesman-Review). The City College of San Francisco transfer who has signed and will enroll at the school has a redshirt year available and three years to play after that.

Colorado

Colorado volleyball player Cierra Simpson was named to USA Volleyball’s collegiate national training team (BuffZone.com). She will be a senior next season in Boulder.

Arizona State

Dan Wolken of USA Today whips up this feature on Memphis football head coach Mike Norvell, who spent the previous four years as Todd Graham’s offensive coordinator at Arizona State. Sounds like he’s enjoying the cuisine down there.

Oregon State

Here’s an MLB Draft profile of Oregon State catcher Logan Ice. He was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year after throwing out 44 percent of runners attempting to steal.

California

And while we’re at it, here’s an MLB Draft profile of Cal catcher Brett Cumberland, the Pac-12 Player of the Year with a conference-leading 16 homers.

Washington

Ted Miller informs us that Athlon Sports ranks Washington football as the top team in the Pac-12. The Huskies are the trendy pick in the Pac-12 for 2016 so far.

USC

Conquest Chronicles gives us a preview of the USC defensive backs for 2016 (video).
