Pac-12 Networks announces robust programming slate, highlighted by continued on-campus presence, for 2019 football season

 
Extensive coverage set for the season as football returns to Pac-12 Networks
 
Pac-12 Now app to be available on Apple TV starting this football season
 
LOS ANGELES – Pac-12 Networks today announced its coverage plans for the 2019 football season at Pac-12 Football Media Day in Hollywood. In total, Pac-12 Networks will televise 35 live games this season, including 16 games over the first three weeks. In addition to the live game schedule, the Networks’ full slate of football programming returns, including “The Pregame,” “Inside Pac-12 Football” and “The Drive,” providing the most in-depth coverage of Pac-12 football in the country.
 
In addition to the live game slate, Pac-12 Networks will host extensive, multi-platform content during the 2019 football season under the new “Pac-12 on the Road” program umbrella. All year long, Pac-12 Networks will take the show on the road to each campus in the Pac-12, with coverage beginning mid-week and content appearing across all of the Networks’ digital and social channels every day, leading up to “The Pregame” and continued on-campus action on Saturdays of football season. Additional coverage will highlight student life on campus, featuring the people and traditions that give each Pac-12 university its unique personality and culture.
 
Also announced today, the Pac-12 Now app will be available to Pac-12 Networks subscribers on Apple TV beginning this football season. The Pac-12 Now app’s appearance on Apple TV is an exciting step forward in making Pac-12 Networks visible and accessible to subscribers on one of Apple’s most popular platforms. The Pac-12 Now app, Pac-12 Networks’ TV Everywhere service, will also continue to be available to subscribers via Android and iOS.
 
Detailing this season’s football programming, the following shows will be featured on Pac-12 Networks:
 
  • “The Pregame” – Building on the excitement and overwhelming response to its on-campus presence last football season, Pac-12 Networks will once again take its signature Saturday show to all 12 campuses this year. The hour-long program will kick-start the day, live from a different Pac-12 campus for 13 of the 14 weeks of football season. 
    • A special edition of the “The Pregame” will debut on Thursday, Aug. 29, kicking off the football season on Pac-12 Networks live from Tempe, Ariz., as the Sun Devils take on Kent State.
    • The Pregame then travels to Folsom Field in Colorado, as the Buffs take on Nebraska on Saturday, Sept. 7.  
    • Hosts all season will include Ashley Adamson and Mike Yam along with expert analysis from Nigel Burton, Nick Aliotti, Yogi Roth and others.

  • “The Drive” – This season, Pac-12 Networks will return its award-winning series, giving an all-access and in-depth perspective of Pac-12 football.  
    • The program will focus on key storylines from across the Conference, with short-form features debuting across Pac-12 Networks’ digital and social platforms and culminating in a full, 30-minute linear episode.
  • “Pac-12 Playlist” – “Pac-12 Playlist” returns to provide updates and coverage on all of the day’s news from around the league, with new segments airing across Pac-12 Networks’ linear and digital channels following coverage of live events throughout the year, beginning this August during football training camp.  
  • “Inside Pac-12 Football” – “Inside Pac-12 Football” returns to Pac-12 Networks every Tuesday evening during football season, featuring analysis, interviews and commentary. 
    • A pair of special episodes covering 2019 Pac-12 Football Media Day return the series, while regular episodes return to Pac-12 Network beginning Tuesday, Aug. 27 as part of football kickoff week on Pac-12 Networks. 
    • Hosted by Mike Yam, “Inside Pac-12 Football” will feature expert analysis from Yogi Roth and several other guests and contributors. 
  • “Pac-12 Football Game Break” & “Pac-12 Football Postgame Report” – Returning to Saturdays on Pac-12 Network, both shows will be featured throughout the day, live from a combination of Pac-12 Networks studios and on campus.  
    • Hosts will include Ashley Adamson and Mike Yam, with expert analysis from Nigel Burton, Nick Aliotti, Yogi Roth and others. 
  •  “Pac-12 Final Score” – Returning to cap off each Saturday throughout the regular season, “Pac-12 Final Score” will give highlights and analysis of the day’s action from across the league.
    • Hosts will include Ashley Adamson and Mike Yam with expert analysis from Evan Moore and others. 
  • “Football in 60” – Pac-12 Networks will once again re-air each of the previous week’s Pac-12 football games in an action-packed hour. Episodes will include exclusive, enhanced footage from the game not seen in the live broadcast.  
    • On short-form platforms, “Football in 60 Seconds” gives quick recaps for all Pac-12 football games on its digital and social platforms.
