Thank you for your interest in Stanford University and Stanford Women's Rowing. Please follow the outlined steps below to begin your recruiting process.

Stanford Women's Rowing Recruiting Information 
High School Recruits
1.    Complete our online recruiting questionnaire 
2.    Email both Head Coach Derek Byrnes at dbyrnes@stanford.edu and Assistant Coach Molly Hamrick at mhamrick@stanford.edu with any additional information. Please feel free to attach rowing video, erging video, unofficial test scores and unofficial transcripts.
3.    Register with the NCAA Clearinghouse 

Applying to Stanford
1.    An important element of the Stanford application process is taking either the SAT or ACT. Stanford does not require SAT II testing or the Written section of either the SAT or ACT.
2.    At Stanford, we practice holistic admission. Each piece in an application is part of an integrated and comprehensive whole.

Relevant NCAA Rule Reminders
After August 1st in the summer between sophomore and junior year
1.    Unofficial and official visits are permissible 
2.    A prospective student-athlete may take a total of five official visits during her junior and senior year
3.    A prospective student-athlete may take only one official visit per institution
4.    Coaches are allowed to have in person contact with a prospective student-athletes on or off campus 
5.    Coaches are allowed to have in person contact with a prospective student-athletes after racing is completed at the end of each racing day

Between June 15th and August 1st in the summer between sophomore and junior year
1.    Coaches are allowed to call and email prospective student-athletes
2.    Coaches cannot speak with a prospective student-athletes in person on or off campus
3.    Unofficial and official visits are not permissible

Before June 15th in the summer between sophomore and junior year
1.    Coaches are permitted to watch practice and competitions
2.    Coaches are not permitted to place or receive phone calls from prospective student-athletes
3.    Coaches cannot email a prospective student-athletes
4.    Coaches cannot speak with a prospective student-athletes in person on or off campus
5.    Unofficial and official visits are not permissible
