@ASUWrestling Schultz Set to Wrestle Under Sun Devil Forever Zahid Valencia

TEMPE - On Oct. 31, FloWresting announced that Junior World silver medalist and two-time NCAA champion Zahid Valencia '20 will wrestle four-time World Champion and 2012 Olympic gold medalist Jordan Burroughs on Saturday, Nov. 14 in Austin, Texas. The undercard includes Sun Devil redshirt freshman Cohlton Schultz facing off against Egyptian Olympian Hamdy Moustafa. The full undercard features six matches and includes all three styles of international wrestling. 

During his time at Arizona State, Valencia won back-to-back NCAA Division I titles against Penn State's Mark Hall, was named Pac-12 Wrestler of the Year, and crowned Pac-12 champion in three consecutive seasons. Burroughs has built himself a hefty wrestling resume. He is a six-time World Cup champion, three-time Pan American Games Gold medalist, and was a two-time Division I champion while competing for the University of Nebraska.

Last month, Schultz was crowned champion in the heavyweight class of Greco-Roman at Senior Nationals. Moustafa, a predominately international wrestler, was defeated 3-2 in his only Olympic match, ultimately placing tenth for Egypt in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.

Fans will have the chance to watch the action on Nov. 14, as it will be streamed live on Flowrestling.org with live results on FloArena. Match order and times will be determined at a later date.
