Martin Adds Highly-Ranked Duo with ’21 Signing Class
Oregon head coach Casey Martin announced the addition of two highly-touted players to make up the 2021 signing class. Martin added Eric Doyle, a top five player in his class in California, and Jose Cristobal Islas, a top-10 prospect in the 2021 class out of Mexico.
"I am very excited with the addition of Eric and Jose," Martin said. "They are both incredibly skilled golfers with great work ethics who have won big golf tournaments and are considered some of the best golfers in their graduating class. I feel both players have a chance to be elite college golfers and should help us immediately."

Currently the eighth-ranked player out of Mexico in the Class of 2021 in the AJGA Rankings … Ran away with the title at the 2019 Copa Valle de Mexico, winning by seven shots highlighted by back-to-back 68s in rounds one and two … Came away with another big win at the 2019 Mazatlan Junior Classic, closing with a 66 and 67 in the final two rounds to win by eight shots at 9 under … Finished tied for 35th at the 2019 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup at 4 over … Came in tied for 38th at the IMG Academy Junior World Championship.
