USC Men's Basketball Announces Pre-Christmas Schedule
The USC men's basketball program has announced its 2020-21 pre-Christmas schedule, which begins with the home opener vs. California Baptist at the Galen Center on Nov. 25 at 6 p.m.
California Baptist went 21-10 during the 2019-20 season and finished in second place in the Western Athletic Conference.
USC will remain at home to host Montana (3rd in the Big Sky in 2019-20 and 18-13 overall) on Nov. 28, with the game time for this and all remaining games to be determined.
USC will then travel to Uncasville, Conn. to take part in the Legends Classic, playing two games at the Mohegan Sun. USC will first face BYU (2nd in the West Coast Conference in 2019-20 and 24-8 overall) on Dec. 1 and then will play either UConn (T-5th in the American Athletic Conference in 2019-20, and 19-12 overall) or Vanderbilt (14th in the Southeastern Conference last season at 11-21) on Dec. 3.
The Trojans will return home to face UC Irvine (winners of the Big West in 2019-20 and 21-11 overall) at the Galen Center on Dec. 8.
USC will play the first of two conference games before the new year when it hosts Stanford (20-12, 6th in the Pac-12) on Dec. 13. The Trojans' other pre-Christmas Pac-12 game will be at Oregon State (18-13, T-7th in the Pac-12) in Corvallis, Ore. on Dec. 20.
In between its two early Pac-12 contests, the Trojans will host San Francisco (5th in the West Coast Conference last season and 22-12 overall) at the Galen Center on Dec. 16. USC will closeout the early part of the schedule with a home game against Texas Southern (3rd in the Southwestern Athletic Conferenence in 2019-20 at 16-16) on Dec. 23.
