Arizona Kicks Off Season with Exhibition Against ASU

TUCSON, Ariz. - Arizona Women's Tennis will start their 2021 season against Arizona State University in a series of individual exhibition matches spanning from Friday in Tucson to Saturday in Tempe. These exhibition matches will take place in a tournament format that will warm up the Wildcats for the regular season matches. 

The Wildcats did not have the opportunity to play the Sun Devils last season due to the cancellation of the season prior to the rivals squaring off, so this will be the first time the WIldcats will face their opponents from the north since the spring of 2019, where ASU triumphed 4-0. The WIldcats will look to pay them back with new addition Emily Maxfield and the experience of returning players like senior Talya Zandberg and junior Kirsten Prelle. 

The matches will kick-off at 12:30 MST on both Friday and Saturday.
