Men's Gymnastics Announces 2021 Schedule

BERKELEY – The No. 11 California men's gymnastics team will return to the mats against some of the top programs in the country during the 2021 campaign. 
 
The Golden Bears will host six meets in Berkeley – three at Golden Bear Rec and three at Haas Pavilion. In addition, four of the home meets will be virtual meets. All meet dates and times are subject to change.

The Bears will open the season with back-to-back competitions in Berkeley, facing Arizona State in the season opener on Saturday, Jan. 30, at Golden Bear Rec, followed by hosting No. 12 Army at Haas Pavilion on Saturday, Jan. 6.
 
Cal will rekindle its rivalry with top-ranked Stanford three times, including the MPSF Championships at Stanford. The Bears will also square off against MPSF foe and second-ranked Oklahoma on Saturday, March 20, at Haas Pavilion.
 
Other ranked foes that the Bears will face are No. 14 William & Mary (Feb. 24) and No. 15 Springfield College (Feb. 17).
 
Cal is led by team captains Caleb Rickard and Darren Wong. Rickard earned MPSF Gymnast of the Week honors last year, and earned career bests on all three of his events. Wong posted four event victories along with three career highs.
 
Due to local health guidelines, fans are not allowed inside Haas Pavilion or Golden Bear Rec for the home meets.
