Cal-Stanford Postgame Notes

The Golden Bears fell against rival Stanford at Haas Pavilion Thursday night.
  • Cal starters: Makale Foreman, Matt Bradley, Ryan Betley, Grant Anticevich, Andre Kelly
  • Matt Bradley's 24-point performance marked the third straight game he's scored 20-plus, and eighth time overall this season. He's tied for the most 20-point efforts in the Pac-12.
  • Bradley tied a career high with five 3-pointers. He's 13-for-21 from behind the arc over his past three games.
  • Andre Kelly hauled in a team-high seven rebounds and scored 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting. It's the second time in three games that he's scored 15 or more points.
  • Kelly is now shooting 65.9 percent (58-for-88) from the field against Pac-12 opponents this season.
  • The loss snapped Cal's two-game winning streak against Stanford. The two teams both won at home last year before Cal defeated Stanford in the first round of the 2020 Pac-12 Tournament.
  • Thursday was the first of two consecutive games between Cal and Stanford. The rivals will clash again Sunday at Maples Pavilion.
