Beavers To Face Utah Thursday At Gill Coliseum

QUICKLY: Oregon State has won four-consecutive Pac-12 games at Gill Coliseum, its longest conference winning streak at home since 2015-16 when it reeled off five straight (USC, Utah, Colorado, Washington, Washington State) ... Ethan Thompson (1,513) became the ninth player in Oregon State history and the 119th in Pac-12 history to score 1,500 points ... Warith Alatishe leads the team in rebounds (163), blocked shots (33) and steals (24); no player in Oregon State history has finished a season leading the team in all three categories ... Zach Reichle leads the team and is fifth in the Pac-12 in assist/turnover ratio (2.27) ... Jarod Lucas has scored in double figures in 16 of the 20 games; he scored in double digits in four of the 31 games last season ... Roman Silva is averaging 7.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in the last five games as a starter; he averaged 3.8 points and 1.5 rebounds in the first 15 games ... vs. UTAH: Oregon State and Utah are meeting for the 35th time with the Utes holding a 19-15 advantage. The home team has dominated the series with the Beavers holding an 12-3 advantage in Corvallis and Utah owning a 14-2 clip in Salt Lake City.
Oregon State won two of the three meetings last season. Utah took the first game, 81-69, at the Huntsman Center on Jan. 2, before the Beavers bounced back for a 70-51 win at Gill Coliseum on Feb. 13.
The teams met in the opening round of the 2020 Pac-12 Tournament on March 11 in Las Vegas, and Jarod Lucas hit a 3-pointer with 1.8 seconds remaining to give Oregon State a thrilling 71-69 win. It was the final game of the season due to COVID-19.
