Goodman Named ESPNW National Player of the Week

CORVALLIS – Oregon State standout guard Aleah Goodman has been named ESPNW's National Player of the Week, the site announced Monday morning.
 
Goodman exploded for 20 points, seven rebounds and nine assists in the Beavers' road win at No. 8 UCLA on Sunday. She opened the week by going for 17 points, four assists and four rebounds Friday at USC.
 
Goodman shot 54.5 percent from the floor and 50 percent from 3-point range over the Beavers' two weekend games. She is averaging 16.6 points per game on the season, along with 5.1 assists per contest. Goodman is third in the nation with a 3-point percentage of 52.1.
 
The national honor is Goodman's second career ESPNW Player of the Week Award. She also earned the award on Feb. 25, 2019.
 
As a team, the Beavers have won five of their last six games. Oregon State's final scheduled game of the regular season will come on Sunday when the Beavers head to Eugene to take on No. 13 Oregon.
