Goodman, von Oelhoffen Earn Pac-12 Weekly Honors

CORVALLIS – Oregon State standout Aleah Goodman was named Pac-12 Player of the Week, while Talia von Oelhoffen has been named Freshman of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
 
Goodman, who was also named ESPN National Player of the Week, exploded for 20 points, seven rebounds and nine assists in the Beavers' road win at No. 8 UCLA on Sunday. She opened the week by going for 17 points, four assists and four rebounds Friday at USC.
 
The senior shot 54.5 percent from the floor and 50 percent from 3-point range over the Beavers' two weekend games. She is averaging 16.6 points per game on the season, along with 5.1 assists per contest. Goodman is third in the nation with a 3-point percentage of 52.1.
 
Von Oelhoffen scored a career-high 19 points at USC on Friday, going 7-for-9 from the floor and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. She followed that up with 13 points and six rebounds at UCLA on Sunday.
 
The guard, who joined the Beavers' mid-way through the season after graduating high school early, is averaging 11.9 points per game over her seven contests this year. She is shooting 49.1 percent from the floor and 48.1 percent from beyond the arc.
 
As a team, the Beavers have won five of their last six games. Oregon State's final scheduled game of the regular season will come on Sunday when the Beavers head to Eugene to take on No. 13 Oregon.
