The Sun Devil men's basketball team kicked off its stretch of playing four home games in seven days against the Washington schools with a 97-64 win over Washington on Tuesday night. It marked the second-largest Pac-12 win by the Sun Devils in the past 18 seasons.
 
Remy Martin (26 points), Kimani Lawrence (22 points) and Alonzo Verge Jr. (16 points) all scored in double figures for the Sun Devils (8-11, 5-8 Pac-12), who shot 51 percent for the game, knocked down 10 triples and came within three points of reaching the century mark in points for the second time this season. The Sun Devils were without injured players Marcus Bagley (ankle), Josh Christopher (back) and Jalen Graham (non-COVID illness).
 
Lawrence tied his career high in scoring and rebounds (team-high 12 rebounds) to secure a double-double and help the Sun Devils finish plus-6 on the boards (45-39).
 
Martin, averaging 25 points per game in his last eight outings, scored 20 or more points for the 36th time in his career and sixth straight tilt.
