Wesson Takes Aim At Pac-12 Diving Championships

Tyler Wesson will compete in all three diving events at the Pac-12 Championships this week.

BERKELEY – Sophomore Tyler Wesson will represent the California men's swimming & diving program at the 2021 Pac-12 Conference Diving Championships, held on Feb. 24-27 at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center in Tucson, Ariz.
 
Wesson's points will be added to Cal's overall team score when the men's swimmers kick off their four-day Pac-12 Championship event in Houston, Texas on Feb. 28-March 3. Wesson will dive on three of the four days in Tucson, starting with the 1 Meter event on Thursday, Feb. 25.
 
The Morgan Hill, Calif., product owns season-best scores of 265.28 on the 1 Meter, 255.38 on the 3 Meter and 185.40 on the Platform. Wesson is in his first year at Cal after transferring from Cal Poly, where he spent his freshman season. He placed 21st in the 3 Meter (274.95) at the 2020 NCAA Zone E Diving Championships as a member of the Mustangs' squad.
