Markentin With Another Podium Finish, Cats Wrap up Women's PAC's

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona Swimming and Diving wrapped up he 2021 Pac-12 Women's Championships Saturday evening. 

Diving Championships
Diver Bjorn Markentin lead the way for the Wildcats as he placed 2nd in the men's platform dive with a score of 398.75. That score marks the diver's personal record despite Markentin being the 2020 Pac-12 champion for the platform dive back when he scored 384.70 points total. 

The 2nd place finish was the second time on the podium for Bjorn, the first time being earlier in the week back when he finished 3rd in the 1 meter event. 

Arizona divers conclude the Pac-12 Championships with wins in the platform and 1 meter events by Delaney Schnell and two podium finishes from Bjorn Markentin. 
 

Swimming Championships
Wildcat women were able to rack up one more NCAA qualifier Saturday night, with Hannah Farrow recording a time of 1:57.66 in the 200 fly final. 

Arizona concludes the 2021 Women's Pac-12 Swimming Championships with a 6th place finish, totaling 827 points.
