TUCSON, Ariz.-- The No. 15 Arizona Wildcats (5-0) completed their third sweep of the weekend against Boise State. Day two of the Cactus Classic proved to be as victorious as the first as the Cats came away with a 5-0 win against the Broncos. This victory came after their 2-0 record on day one of the Classic against SFA and Corpus Christi.

Pairs Burling/Blacker and Parker/Noble were able to shut the Broncos out in two quick sets with their opponents never reaching above 14 points. The other three pairs advanced to the third set but ultimately kept Boise off the board. Rennie/Parkhurst closed out the match in an qucik third set. The pair battled it out until they reached the final score of 15-8, pulling the final point for the Cats. This win 5-0 win for the Cats marks the longest sweep streak in program history, with the previous being three 2018.

Head Coach Steve Walker
"I, along with our entire staff, are just so happy for our players to have this opportunity to get out and compete in the sport they have so much passion for. And to do it at home, in front of family, made it even better. This is as competitive and coachable a group as I've ever had at UofA and we're taking things one day at a time, with an attitude of gratitude. We look forward to getting back at it next week."
