Ponwith went 2-1 in singles and picked up a doubles victory during No. 21 ASU's road gauntlet last week that featured matches against No. 50 Tulsa, No. 28 Oklahoma, and No. 2 Baylor. Ponwith's singles wins against the Hurricane and Sooners helped ASU (11-2) reach a 10-match winning streak prior to their loss to the Bears, and the senior captain reached a team-best 10 wins too. His victories included a three-set win over No. 67 Kody Pearson of Tulsa.

Ponwith is 10-3 in singles this year and holds an 8-4 record in doubles. He opened the season on a six-match winning streak and has taken down two ranked opponents in No. 57 Siem Woldeab of Texas and No. 67 Pearson.

ASU returns to the courts Friday to host VCU at 2 p.m. The Sun Devils then host UNLV Sunday at 2 p.m. Both matches will be live streamed.
