SDA Announces Limited Fan Attendance at Spring Events
TEMPE, Ariz. -- Following the approval from the Pac-12 Conference, university presidents, and local health officials, Sun Devil Athletics began the implementation of limited fan attendance and new COVID-19 related protocols at athletic competitions beginning Friday, March 5, 2021.
After working with the appropriate authorities to determine exact capacities and protocols, Sun Devil Baseball at Phoenix Municipal Stadium and Women's Soccer at Sun Devil Stadium hosted a limited capacity with success over the weekend.
Sun Devil Athletics will continue to implement limited fan attendance at upcoming events beginning this week, adding softball in addition to baseball and women's soccer. Please stay tuned for more information in regards to these and other spring Olympic sports listed below.
ASU will prioritize access for season-ticket holders, students, and student-athlete family and guests.
Baseball
Sun Devil Baseball welcomes fans at 25% capacity at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. Fans can continue to purchase advanced single-game tickets for the remainder of the season online or by calling a Sun Devil Ticket Representative at (480) 965-5812.
Softball
Sun Devil Softball and Farrington Stadium will provide seating at 20% capacity with season-ticket holders receiving the first opportunity to attend games this season. Due to the limited capacity and number of season-ticket holders, we do not currently anticipate any tickets being available to the general public. Soccer
Sun Devil Soccer will continue to host fans at a limited capacity at Sun Devil Stadium, which will serve as the home for the remainder of the program's regular-season matches. Fans can purchase tickets on the day of game only and enter at the northeast corner of the stadium.
Olympic Sports
For some of our smaller Olympic sport venues, student-athlete family and guest tickets remain the priority and we will accommodate additional fans the day of if we are not already at capacity.
