BOULDER – Colorado women's tennis team is set to take on Oregon this Friday in Eugene at 1 p.m. MT.

The Buffaloes (7-3, 1-1 Pac-12) are coming off a 1-1 start to the conference that included the team's first-ever win over then No.12 Cal and the highest-ranked win in conference history for the program, all despite missing Sophia Derivan from the lineup.

CU's plug-and-play team aspect was on full display as Fleur Eggink and Sara Nayar teamed up for the first time and downed the No.40-ranked doubles team from Cal and a doubles team from Stanford that included the No.10-ranked singles player in the nation. Both matches weren't even close as they took down Cal 6-3 and Stanford 6-1. Nayar is now 8-1 this season in doubles action with a 6-1 record with Derivan and a 2-0 record with Eggink.

In singles play, Megan Forster picked up the first ranked win of the season for CU after defeating the 26th-ranked player in the nation from Cal in straight sets. She has taken over the team lead with a record of 8-2 this season. Derivan and Ky Ecton are the only one-loss Buffs with records of 7-1 and 2-1, respectfully. Maria Campos has a 7-2 record while Nayar and Eggink both have 6-4 individual marks.

Colorado has won 40 singles matches already this season to just 20 losses and has broken .500 in doubles with a 16-13 team record.

The Ducks this season have a 7-2 record with a 4-3 win against Arizona and a 4-0 loss to No.24 Arizona State in conference. The team's only other loss was the season opener against Gonzaga 4-3. The only identical matchup to compare is Oregon's February 26 4-3 win over BYU, a team CU handled 52 just a week prior.

Oregon is led by Janice Tjen, Uxia Martinez Moral and Rifanty Kahfiani. Kahfiani and Martinez Moral have a 6-1 doubles record while Lillian Mould and Tjen have a 7-0 record. Tjen is 8-0 this season in singles while Martinez Moral is 8-1 and Kahfiani is 7-1.
