Salt Lake City NCAA Regional Moved To Maverik Center

SALT LAKE CITY – The NCAA Gymnastics Regional hosted by the University of Utah, which was scheduled to take place at the Jon M. Huntsman Center, has been relocated to the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah. With consideration to COVID-19 protocols, the Maverik Center will allow adequate space for proper social distancing measures on the competition floor for all participating teams and working staff.

The NCAA Gymnastics Regional at the Maverik Center will allow up to 25 percent capacity per the NCAA spectator guidelines for championship events. All information regarding ticket purchases and prices will be announced at the discretion of the NCAA.

The NCAA Regional will begin on Thursday, April 1 with the first round of competition between two qualifiers at 3 p.m. MT in the play-in dual meet. The winner of the first round will advance into the NCAA Second Round on Friday, April 2. The first session will be at 1 p.m. MT, while the final session will begin at 7 p.m. MT.

The top two teams in each four-team session will advance to the NCAA Regional Final on Saturday, April 3 at 7 p.m. MT, with the top-two finishers of the regional final earning a berth to the NCAA Championships. Regional draws will be announced on Monday, March 22.
